2013 Subaru WRX
The Subaru 2013 is powered by a 2.5 L H-4 turbocharged flat-four engine that produces an impressive 265 HP @ 6,000 RPM. The turbocharged engine occupies less space, produces more power for its size, and consumes less fuel. The flat-four design (a flat engine with four cylinders placed horizontally) gives the car good balance and efficient air cooling. While driving at high speed, the anti-lock brakes, traction-control, stability-control, and low center of gravity keep the car firmly rooted to the ground. This makes 2013 Subaru WRX safer to drive while smoothly overcoming all kinds of road conditions including potholes, bumps, rocky and snowy surfaces.
The Subaru 2013 can reach a top speed of 142 mph (Special Edition) and can give 19 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway, which is considerably less than that given by many other cars of the same niche. Although the 2013 Subaru WRX doesn’t have an automatic transmission system, it has a highly competent 5 speed manual transmission with overdrive which can propel the car from 0 to 60 miles per hour within 5.9 seconds without having to shift to third gear.
Like its predecessors, the 2013 Subaru WRX comes in 4-door sedan and 5-door hatchback models. The exterior can be described as more aggressive looking than aesthetically pleasing – with its flared fenders, spoilers and wider posture – which is just fine for fast driving. With a body length ranging from 173.8″ to 180.3″ and a body width of 70.7″, the car has a roomy interior that can comfortably house 5 passengers (including the driver). The car has a cargo space of 44.4 cu. ft., which is large enough to hold a few suitcases. The only problem is that the back seats do not fold back enough if you want more cargo space. The front seats are racing-style bucket seats designed to hold the driver and passenger firmly in place and the rear seats are spacious with lots of room to maneuver. The elegant and comfortable upholstery is the same as that of the previous models. For protection during collision, there are airbags for both front and back seat occupants.
The 2013 Subaru WRX is great to drive, although it may not look as elegant as some other cars and consume a higher amount of fuel. The seats are comfortable and designed for high speed. The better than average traction and all-wheel drive makes a good car to drive your family on difficult roads and inclement weather conditions. And at a price range of $24,356 to $27,589, it is priced for the masses so that you can comfortably afford it. Overall, the 2013 Subaru WRX is a good buy – if you don’t mind a manual transmission system.Cat : Subaru,
