The 2013 Cadillac Escalade was created with power in mind. Unbelievable though it may be, this full-size luxury SUV is equipped with a 6.2-liter V8 engine in six-speed automatic transmission that packs 403 horsepower. With the Adaptive Remote Start, you can start the vehicle from a distance and adjust the interior temperature for a much-improved driving experience. In 7.5 seconds, the Cadillac Escalade goes up to 6-mph. If there’s any downside, that would be its fuel economy, with 14 mpg in the city and 18 mpg in the highway, with a combined rating of 16 mpg for the rear-wheel drive and 5 mpg for the all-wheel drive.

This is only complemented by aluminum accents and a polished chrome. There’s a heated steering wheel, and by pressing a button, it will feel warm and offset the cold temperature.
Two standout interior features are the power fold-and-tumble rear seats, which folds the rear seats forward for easier entry of passengers, and the retractable assist steps, which facilitates easy entry to the vehicle. For the Platinum Edition, there are 14-way power adjustable heated and cooled front seats.
With the 8” touch screen navigation system, confidence is at your fingertips. It also the NavTraffic Real Time Weather, to make sure that you’re prepared for any weather conditions on the road, wherever you may be going. With a 40GB hard drive, you can upload virtually as many maps as you can.
The rear seat entertainment features two 8” LCD screens, two wireless headphones, and a remote control. There’s a separate DVD player for both, allowing you to play two movies simultaneously.
The Escalade has a Side Blind Zone alert, to let drivers know if there’s an incoming vehicle in their blind spot, and will give the appropriate warning if there’s potential danger. It also has the Stabilitrak with Rollover Mitigation, which provides continual sensor information to keep the vehicle on its path. The rearview backup camera with park assist gives the driver a full view of what’s happening at the back. It comes with standard airbags, and the OnStar emergency telematics.
