2013 Aston Martin V12 Zagato
The V12 Zagati was a concept car that debuted in public in May 2011, but after several people expressed interest in the track-only V12 Zagato, the British automaker of 100 years decided to release a slate of just 150 market models of this iconic supercar. Calling it a unique combination time-honored craftsmanship and technology by none other than the CEO of Aston Martin himself, the Aston Martin V12 Zagato is an iconic supercar fitting for a time-tested, iconic brand.
Power is concentrated on a six-speed automated manual gearbox with select shift/auto shift manual modes for power distribution, through a 6.0 liter 12-cylinder engine that produces 510 horsepower at 6500 RPM and a maximum torque of 420 lb-feet at 5750 RPM. It can go from o to 62 mph in just 4.2 seconds, with a maxium speed of up to 190 mph.
The fuel economy of this luxury supercar is by no means subpar, with a combined fuel economy rating of 17.3 mpg broken down into: 11.6 mph in urban and 24.1 mpg in extra-urban settings. Its CO2 emissions is rated at 388 g/km.
The V12 Zagato is the result of a partnership between Aston Marin and Zagato, to celebrate the DB5GT’s 50th anniversary. The product is the Aston Martin V12 Zagato: a supercar made with lightweight hand-crafted aluminum and carbon-fibre body panels to complement its wicked performance.
The V12 Zagato sets itself apart from another Aston Martin supercar, the 2013 Vantage, through its distinct Zagato-designed exterior. A single model takes an approximate 2,000 man hours to build—precisely why only 150 models are in production.
One can only expect no less than the best and finest interior trimming for the 2013 Aston Martin V12 Zagato. Upholstered by Bridge of Weir hides and the Zagato’s Z emblem handstitched into the headrest, the V12 Zagato is an embodiment of luxury and exclusivity. With its piano black and satin black rotary switchgear, lined with red stitching, the unique pattern of this supercar gives it an even more commanding presence.
The 2013 Aston Martin V12 Zagato, more than anything, is clearly a work of art—from its Zagato-stitched logos and plaques to its use of fine leather upsholtery. It has a luggage capacity of 10.3 cubic feet—and it’s frankly quite a surprise how the designers managed to fit that much in, considering its compact size and the premium on luxury design.
Bringing passenger comfort to a whole new level with its electrically adjustable sports seats with three position memory, or lightweight seats with six-way electrical adjustment.
This supercar is in no way lacking in features, as it is equipped with the 700 W Aston Martin Premium audio system with Dolby Pro Logic, an integrated Apple iPod connector, and a USB connector to name a few.
For its safety equipment, the V12 Zagato comes with dual-stage driver/passenger front airbags, anti-lock braking system, emergency brake assist, traction control, alarm with volumetric and tilt sensor, and an immobilizer.
With only 150 models in production, this luxury supercar is reserved only for the richest car enthusiasts, with its price at around $520,000.Cat : Aston Martin,
